Slay Your Senior Session: A Girl's Guide to Senior pics!
Hey there, future grad! ✨
Senior year is a one-of-a-kind adventure, and I can't wait to help you capture this incredible milestone. This guide is designed to help you prepare for your session so you can feel confident and relaxed. My goal is to make this experience as fun and memorable as you are.
Feeling a little nervous is completely normal, but there’s no need to worry! I'll be there to gently guide you through every pose and help you feel comfortable in front of the camera. My goal is to capture your natural beauty and confidence, not to force anything awkward.
Expect a variety of poses and shots—from classic portraits to natural, candid moments. I'll guide you through a mix of standing, sitting, and close-up shots that highlight your unique personality. If you have a specific idea you love from Pinterest or social media, feel free to share it with me!
Preparing for Your Session
This is your time to shine! Choose outfits that truly represent you and make you feel incredible. I recommend bringing at least 3-4 options so we have a variety to work with.
Outfit Inspo:
- Outfit Ideas: Your favorite jeans and a stylish top, a cute dress, or something that shows off your school spirit.
- Pro-Styling Tips: Solid colors or minimal prints photograph best. Make sure your clothes are clean, wrinkle-free, and fit you just right. Don't forget your shoes—they complete your look!
Pro-Styling Tips:
- Simple Stuns: Opt for solid colors or minimal patterns. Avoid busy prints or logos that might steal the spotlight.
- Details Matter: Ensure your clothes fit perfectly and are wrinkle-free. Accessories like jewelry, scarves, or hats can add personality!
- Shoe Power: Shoes complete your look, so pick out ones that complement your outfits. Flats, heels, boots – the choice is yours!
Showcase Your Story
Your senior photos should tell your story. Bring along props that represent your passions and hobbies—a musical instrument, sports equipment, art supplies, or even your favorite book. These personal touches help me capture who you are at this exciting time.
Hair & Makeup
If you plan on getting your hair or makeup done professionally, I recommend scheduling your appointments for a few days before your session. This gives you time to make any small adjustments and ensures everything feels comfortable. Don’t Forget Your Nails! You'll be holding props and posing with your hands, so don't forget to treat yourself to a manicure or pedicure.
Final Prep for Your Shoot Day
A good night's sleep before your session will leave you feeling refreshed and ready to go! Be sure to eat a good meal before you arrive to keep your energy levels high throughout the shoot. You might also want to pack a small bag with water, a snack, and any personal items you might need for touch-ups.
After the Shoot:
Get ready to be amazed! I'll send a sneak peek within 48 hours of your session. Your full, final gallery will be delivered via a private online gallery within 2-3 weeks. From there, you'll be able to download your high-resolution images, share them with family and friends, and order prints, wall art, and graduation cards directly from your gallery.
Your photos are going to be amazing. I can’t wait!
